Midwest, Gifts & Dec, CBK Host Atlanta Seminars

Cannon Falls, MN — Gift vendors Midwest and CBK and Gifts & Decorative Accessories will co-host a series of seminars for independent gift retailers during the January 2008 Intl. Gift & Home Furnishings Market at AmericasMart Atlanta.

The Retail University Seminar Series will take place Friday, January 11, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. in building one, suite 19A23. Seminar topics include Trend Search; Building a Brand with Personality; Modern Marketing; Planning Fabulous Retail Events for Fun and Profit!; The Holiday View: Retail Display Secrets from the Pros; and Candlescaping 101: Candle Merchandising & Display Ideas.

Midwest will also host Meet the Artist events in its AmericasMart showroom (building one, suite 16A7) January 10–14. Artists will include Greta Sandquist, Angela Evans, Wendy Addison, Ceal Bialobrzeski and Shannon Montileux-Craig. The Midwest showroom will also host the Ask the Display Master service, January 11–13.
