Kenneth Lefever

Kenneth D. Lefever, president of alternative metal serveware and giftware vendor Wilton Armetale, Mount Joy, PA, was elected to the board of directors of the not-for-profit International Housewares Association. Lefever begins his three-year term October 1. The IHA sponsors the International Home + Housewares Show. Lefever joined Wilton Armetale in 1999 as CFO. He was named president in 2003 and CEO in 2004.

Family entertainment producer and distributor Chorion, New York, appointed Rachel Bader as licensing director, packaged goods and promotions. Bader will be responsible for maximizing the revenue and exposure generated by Chorion’s portfolio of brands including OLIVIA, Mr. Men and Little Miss, Noddy, Paddington Bear, and The World of Eric Carle. Most recently she worked at Scholastic Media as director, licensing and consumer promotions. Previous positions include founder and co-owner of stationery company Kickball Designs. 

Theodore Alexander, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, hired Melvin Wilson in the newly created position of senior vice president operations. Brian Martin was appointed as manager, research and development department. Werner Freundel was promoted to director, merchandising department. A new materials sourcing department was established and will be led by Rajeev Kapoor. Nguyen Thanh Giang has been promoted to manager of the company’s purchasing department.

Business incentive company Hallmark Insights hired Zarir Erani as vice president of information technology. Erani will oversee the company's client facing platform, project management, internal applications and IT strategy, infrastructure and controls.
