NYIGF Offers Advance Planner, Online Registration

By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 12/4/2008 2:57:00 PM

White Plains, NY — Retailers planning to attend the New York International Gift Fair, January 25–29, 2009, can go online to register and do some advance planning for their shopping strategy and visit to New York. The NYIGF website offers users sophisticated advance planning tools, such as an Online Catalog Gallery, Directory Search and hotel and travel discounts.

With advance registration, admission to NYIGF is free, and retailers new to attending the Fair can go through the credentialing process online and receive a badge. Buyers who have registered for previous shows can update their contact information, and add or delete names of additional staff members attending market.

While on the NYIGF site, buyers can search through the Online Catalog Gallery to preview companies and products using keyword searches for information specific to their needs.  It is expected that around 300 catalogs, and nearly 100,000 products will be posted by showtime. Another valuable search tool on the website is the Directory Search, allowing them to search for exhibitors by company name, product category, keyword or location at market.

The NYIGF runs Sunday, January 25, through Thursday, January 29, 2009, at New York's Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 90, 92 and 94. Additional information, registration, hotel and travel arrangements and on-line advance planning tools are available at www.nyigf.com.
