Matt Shay to Head NRF

Washington, DC – The National Retail Federation (NRF) hired Matt Shay to serve as president and CEO of the federation. Shay will succeed Tracy Mullin, who is retiring after serving as NRF’s president and CEO since the early 1990s. Shay is expected to begin at NRF on May 10. He willl be officially elected at NRF’s Board of Directors meeting on June 22. He currently serves as president and CEO of the International Franchise Association.
Mullin served on the seach committee which selected the new president, along with executives from Macy's, Polo Raplh Lauren, Saks, The Container Store and Keith Lipert Gallery.
