New York— Gift industry charity Gift for Life will present the Gift For Life Industry Achievement Award to Randy Eller headshotRandy Eller during Gifts & Decorative Accessories' 59th Annual Retailer Excellence Awards, which take place in August in New York.

Tickets are now on sale for the gala, which will be held on Sunday, August 15th at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Tickets are $175 per person.

Eller’s career in the gift and home industry began with ten years of retail management for a twenty-location variety store chain headquartered in Knoxville, TN. In 1982, he became a salesperson with Russ Berrie & Co., where he rose to vice president of marketing for Russ Berrie South. Eller joined CBK in 1988 as the first company-employed salesperson. He became the president and a partner in the business in 1995.

Currently he operates Eller Enterprises, of Franklin, TN, which he founded in 2004.  The consulting firm serves wholesalers, product designers, marketing, public relations and advertising firms in the gift and home industries. Eller Enterprises also offers personal executive coaching, professional speaking, and mergers and acquisitions advice.

Eller has served as board member for the Accessories Resource Team; is a current member of the Gift and Home Trade Association, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, and the National Speakers Association; and is a supporter of The 3/50 Project.

“Randy’s leadership over more than two decades has made him both successful and respected,” said Jenny Hammons, chair of the Gift for Life board. “We are proud to honor a person who stands tall as a generous spirit who personifies the best qualities of our industry.”
