Dallas – Dallas Market Center is once again looking for The Next Big Thing, through its national product search Next Big Thing logocontest. “The Next Big Thing is the chance for creative individuals to have their new product shown to retail buyers from throughout the country. We look forward to another impressive group of entries and seeing the finalists at market,” said Bill Winsor, president and CEO, DMC.

Those interested in entering can download an application at www.dallasmarketcenter.com and clicking on The Next Big Thing. All entries should be submitted via email to thenextbigthing@dmcmail.com or mailed to The Next Big Thing, c/o Dallas Market Center, 2100 Stemmons Fwy., MS 120, Dallas, TX 75207. The deadline is March 26.

Three finalists will be selected by a panel of industry experts, as well as DMC representatives, and announced on April 12. The finalists will receive airfare and hotel accommodations for the summer Dallas Total Home & Gift Market FINDS Temp Show scheduled for June 25–28. Their products will be on display in complimentary exhibit space.

A winner will be chosen during the June Market. Judges from consumer and trade publications will select the winner. In addition, the public will have the chance to text to vote to show their support for their favorite product. The winner will be announced on Saturday, June 26, and receive a prize package worth more than $15,000, including a $5,000 cash prize, exhibit space at the January Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, consultations from industry experts and more.
