Big box discount stores made consumers into one-stop shoppers. Specialty retailers are taking a cue from the shift and becoming lifestyle boutiques.
No longer only focusing on one particular product category, lifestyle stores offer several with the flair that only an independent retailer can offer. In a lifestyle store, displays need to reflect the store's mix of product categories. Our store, too, has transformed from an antiques and home accessories store to a true lifestyle boutique offering our core product mixed with a touch of gifts, spa products and a bit of fashion, too. Our displays have improved through the transformation as we've found new, fun ways to present product to our customers.
