Northern Michigan Show Gathers in Harbor Springs

Harbor Springs, MI — The Northern Michigan Gift & Souvenir Show returns to the Boyne Highlands Golf and Ski Resort in Harbor Springs, for an April 19–21 run. The show brings together many of the most popular big lines and reps for the buyers from this regional, primarily resort area, to shop.
This niche market show distinguishes itself by setting up within the resort's ski lodge rather than in a convention center. Displays are more like actual shops than tradeshow booths.
After an amazing 55 years, “it’s a lot like old home week at the spring show,” says the show’s manager, Jim Liska. “A lot of the same reps and buyers have been getting together for over 20 years here and in some cases over 30 years. Sometimes you’re dealing with second generation store owners and reps.”
Show hours Sunday and Monday are 9a.m.–6 p.m. and Tuesday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. On Sunday and Monday evenings, buyers and exhibitors have the opportunity to socialize while enjoying complimentary cocktails, hor d'oeuvres and live entertainment. Discount room rates are available by calling 1-800-GO-Boyne and identify yourself as a “gift show buyer.” Further information is available online or call, (231) 526-1270.
