Brookstone Names Interim President and CEO

Merrimack, NH — Lifestyle specialty retail chain Brookstone Inc. entered into a succession agreement with Louis Mancini, the company’s president, CEO and a member of the board of directors. Mancini will step down from his positions with the company on March 4.
Philip W. Roizin will serve as interim president and CEO and a director of the company following Mancini’s department. Roizin has served as Brookstone's executive vice president, finance and administration since December 1996. He previously served as CFO of The Franklin Mint. Ron Sim, departing chairman, said, "A search is underway for a permanent CEO, and Philip is a candidate for the position."
Jackson Tai was named chairman of the board of directors, succeeding Sim who will remain as a director. Tai, who has been a director of the company since August 2008, was vice chairman and CEO of DBS Group Holdings until 2008.
