New York Exhibitors Garner Awards

New York — Exhibitors at the New York Intl. Gift Fair were honored in a variety of areas. The Accent on Design awards recognized Artecnica, Los Angeles, with the Best New Product Design award for the WirePod. Wabnitz Editions Ltd., Columbus, OH, was honored with Best Collection; and J. Fold, New York, received Best Booth Presentation, as did sällbo design, Tokyo, Japan. 

The ExTracts Best New Products Awards (of which Gifts & Decorative Accessories' editor Meredith Schwartz served as one of the judges) named Melbourne, Australia-based Sohum's Royale Collection Bon Bon Packaging 'Best of Show'. Es'Scents International, San Ramon, CA, won in Bath & Body for its Lavish Bath Melts; What's Hot!, Woodbury, NY, won in Beauty Accessory for its eyeSlices disposable eye treatment pads; Mommy Makeup won in Cosmetic & Fragrance for its Clean-n-Casual Kit; Erbaviva, Northridge, CA, won in the Natural/Organic category for its Organic Deodorant and POO~POURRI, Dallas, won in packaging for its eponymous product. 

The Home Textiles Market Week Best New Product Awards recognized exhibitors from the Fair, plus 230 Fifth Ave. and 7 West 34th St. Andrew Morgan Collection, Mt Vernon, NY, was named Best of Market for its Palace Gates sustainable knitted blanket. In the Bed category, Cuddledown, Portland, ME, win for its Limited Edition "World's Lightest Comforter;" MATTEO, Los Angeles, won in Bath for its Ida Baby Bathrobe;Settings by Mona, Las Vegas, was honored in Dining for its fringe tablecloth and chair cap and Noida, India-based Shades of India’s Moonbeam Cushion Cover won in Home Accessories. Editors from Gifts & Decorative Accessories’ sister publications Home AccentsToday and Home Textiles Today were among the judges.
