Enesco Acquires Assets of Country Artists Ltd.

Itasca, IL — Enesco LLC continued their campaign of global growth with the acquisition of the business and certain assets of Country Arts Ltd of Warwickeshire, England. Country Artists, known for their brands A Breed Apart, Tuskers, Speed Freaks and Dogs & Cats, will continue to be sold in specialty gift stores.

“We are delighted to have secured the assets of Country Artists. Rarely does such a strong brand become available in our industry. Our goal will be to develop the global presence for Country Artists brands and collector clubs,” said Ken Johnson, managing director of Enesco.

  WHEN WILL THIS TAKE PLACE IT HAS HURT MY BUSINESS AND SEVERAL OTHER''S THAT DEAL WITH SPEED FREAKS. I KNOW I SPEAK FOR ALOT OF RETAILERS ABOUT THE BACK ORDERED SPEED FREAKS AND THEY ALL HAVE SAID THAT THEY ARE VERY DISGUSTED ABOUT THE WHOLE THING AND ALOT ARE NOT GOING TO DEAL WITH SPEED FREAKS AS MUCH AS BEFORE BECAUSE OF ALL THE DAMAGE IT HAS DONE TO THERE BUSINESS WITH CUSTOMERS WANTING THIS PRODUCT AND PROMISING THAT THEY WOULD BE OUT SOON WHICH HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR SUCH A LONG TIME. CHRISTMAS IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER AND THERE IS NO WORD ON WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO RELEASE THEM. IT REALLY IS A PITY TO WHAT THIS HAS DONE TO THE RETAILER''S AND THERE CUSTOMER''S
