Kennedy Named GDA Editor-In-Chief

Caroline Kennedy has been promoted to Editor-in-Chief of Gifts & Decorative Accessories. Kennedy's tenure with the publication spans 23 years, first joining the magazine as Production Editor and serving as Managing Editor and most recently as Executive Editor. She succeeds Maria Weiskott who came to Gifts & Decorative Accessories from sister publication Playthings and has resigned to work on special projects, write and spend more time enjoying her family.
Kennedy, who celebrated the magazine's 75th anniversary in 1992, is already planning for Gifts & Dec's centennial celebration. In addition to her editorial duties, Kennedy is well-known to the industry as an awards judge, seminar speaker and member of the board of gift industry charity Gift for Life.
