Hearts, Flowers and… Iguanas?

Chicago — Comparison shopping site ShopLocal.com surveyed more than 3,000 users about Valentine’s Day. Good news for the gift business: 83 percent planned to celebrate this year. Even very new relationships qualify. For almost half, or 47 percent, time was not a factor, provided the couple was "in like."
Gift giving and getting is clearly a priority when it comes to how to celebrate: 43 percent said “nothing” is the worst gift. Other bad gifts included divorce papers, a weight-loss book, ground beef and an iguana. Four percent said they broke up with someone right before Valentine's Day to avoid having to buy a gift.
