White Plains, NY — The California Gift Show will present a full roster of trend-driven, business-building programs and a fun networking event to round out total market experience for attendees, January 18–21 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The new networking event, “Hollywood Red Carpet,” taps into the “glitter” of LA’s movie culture with an on-site party on Saturday, January 19, which will provide a “wrap” to the day. The festivities start at 6 p.m.

To infuse a little more energy into an already energetic experience, this market’s lineup will include a new on-the-show-floor presentation space, The Platform, where open format programs will occur. The Platform will be located in the rear of the 2600 aisle in South Hall. First up on The Platform will be “LA Trend Report,” a cutting-edge trend panel with Liezel Munez-Gunn, West Coast contributing editor of O, The Oprah Magazine, and five of LA’s leading retailers. This event will be on Saturday, January 19, at 1:30 p.m.

In addition, “Flaunt,” a twice-daily, live "Product Theater" will be presented as a complement to the informational sessions. The Flaunt programs, incorporating fashion, dance and product, are choreographed by Danny Teeson and are held Friday–Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. and on Monday at noon.

Regular seminar information sessions will also be held, and for the first time will be offered on a complimentary basis to all show participants. The program roster includes:
