Ben & Jerry’s Jerry Greenfield to Keynote Chicago Market

Chicago — The Chicago Market: Living and Giving will be highlighted by a special keynote presentation by Jerry Greenfield, co-founder, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Greenfield will offer a perspective on his company’s approach to business and its socially responsible outlook. Entitled "An Afternoon of Social Responsibility, Radical Business Philosophy & Free Ice Cream, " the program will be held on Monday, July 26 at 4:30 p.m. An ice cream reception will take place immediately following. An RSVP is required.

And to make travel to market easier, the Chicago is encouraging buyers to ride the rails to Chicago by continuing its Amtrak Reimbursement Program during the July Market. Qualified buyers can receive reimbursement up to $50 for their Amtrak train ticket. Buyers need to register on-site and bring their ID, a copy of the Amtrak ticket and buyer badge to Suite 137 between 9 a.m.–1 p.m., July 22 –28, for reimbursement.

A Late Night Shopping Charity Event with proceeds benefiting Gift For Life/DIFFA, the gift and home industries sole charity supporting AIDS research and education, will be held on Saturday, July 24.
