Garden City, NY – WAC Lighting raised more than $30,000 for the victims of the Haiti earthquake. “Our company and its employees are coming together to raise funds to help earthquake victims in Haiti. Additionally, we are working closely with the American Red Cross to help consolidate funds and get help immediately,” said Shelley Wang, president.
The lighting manufacturer has stepped up in the past, raising money for 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the 921 Taiwan earthquake, the China earthquakes and the Tsunami. The company’s brand standard Responsible Lighting is part of the company’s goal of giving back. WAC Lighting works with many foundations, including the American Red Cross, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and others.
