Paperworld 2008, a Resource for Licensing and Designers
Frankfurt, Germany — Paperworld, running January 23–27, 2008, at Messe Frankfurt, offers not only the latest in paper products, greeting cards, calendars, office supplies and stationery, it is also an important platform for making contacts, developing new ideas and doing business. The companies exhibiting at Paperworld include international license agencies, as well as graphic designers, book publishers and advertisers.

“Licensed themes are booming in Germany, especially in the case of products for young target groups. However, greetings cards, picture calendars, notebooks and diaries are being increasingly important as a means of expressing an individual pictorial language, lifestyle and youthful topics. Paperworld is the first and most important venue for the presentation of new products of this kind and is thus growing in significance for the license business,” notes Michael Reichhold, director of Paperworld, Messe Frankfurt.

The majority of exhibitors from the licensing field will be located in Hall 5.1, surrounded by gift suppliers and greeting-card companies from all over the world. Hall 6.0, home to leading companies for giftwrap and paper napkins, offers a Designers’ Area with more than 20 artists exhibiting who specialize primarily in giftwrap and napkin design.

More detailed information about Paperworld is available online.
