Art In Motion to Partner with Wholesale Framers

By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 10/17/2009 5:00:00 PM

Vancouver, BC — As part of a strategic growth plan, fine art publisher Art In Motion, a division of ICA Home Decor, will begin to sell its art prints directly to North American framers servicing boutique independent retailers.

Smaller independent retailers interested in Art In Motion prints can choose from multiple wall décor vendors giving them more options on style and price point. Among the partner vendors who will market Art in Motion art prints are Paragon Pictures and Propac.

“We are happy that Paragon Pictures and Propac will be the debut partner to market our prints,” said Lisa Kluthe, director, sales and licensing for Art In Motion. “With over 35 years of experience, Paragon and Propac are respected veterans of wall decor.”

Art In Motion will continue to sell directly to larger independent retailers but will not compete with their new partners at the “boutique” level.

As one of the leading fine art publishers, “Our goal is to support our artists and market their talent to the broadest channels of distribution,” says Tara Fortunato, chief merchandising officer of ICA Home Decor. “For almost 25 years, Art In Motion has built its reputation as an artist’s company. This strategy allows us to focus on creating and distributing more images around the world, growing both our print and licensing businesses.”
