Indian Houseware & Gift Fair Debuts in March ’08
New Delhi, India —A new gift show, the Indian Houseware & Gift Fair — Spring ’08, is launching in March and will coincide with Tex Style India ’08, the India Carpet Expo ’08 and INTEX. The concurrent shows will be held March 1–4 in the Pragati Maidan exhibition center New Delhi. The show, managed by the Society of Small and Medium Enterprises, has been established in response to the needs of manufacturers and distributors exporting to overseas buyers.

This mega show, comprised of a wide range of housewares, gifts, handicrafts, home textiles, floor coverings, carpets and much more, will feature more than 1,000 manufacturers and exporters from all over India and will cater to overseas buyers.

New Vietnamese Jewelry Show Set for May
Hong Kong — IJV 2008 is a new show for jewelry vendors wishing to reach buyers primarily from Vietnam and nine other ASEAN countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The show is set to run from May 2–4, at the Ho Chi Minh City Exhibition & Convention Centre, Vietnam. IJV 2008 will cater to retailers, department store buyers and private collectors, and cover all aspects of the jewelry market, including the tools, displays and packaging sectors.

The show has been established by World Trade Fair Limited in recognition of the wealth of business opportunities Vietnam’s rapidly developing and largely unpenetrated luxury products sector offers.
