Tabletop, gift and collectibles manufacturer Royal Doulton, Somerset, NJ, appointed Debbie Corrado to vice president of sales wholesale division. Corrado previously worked for Lifetime Brands as chief marketing officer. At Royal Doulton she will manage the company’s national sales force and be responsible for developing the company’s revenue base by working with key retail customers.

Matt Carr was named director of design, a newly created position at gift and decorative accessories company Umbra, Buffalo, NY. Carr has been with the company for seven years and will now oversee the design team. Carr created some of the company’s better sellers, including the Tea Time Clock which was made up of various teacups and saucers.

Micahael Deveau was appointed to sales representative for the northeast region, a newly created position at Company C, a Corcord, NH-based manufacturer of rugs, bedding, decorative pillows and throws. Deveau has held management positions for Country Curtains, Priscilla of Boston and Macy’s East.

Children’s entertainment company Nelvana Enterprises, Toronto, Canada, promoted Lily Yan from senior manager, international licensing to director, licensing international and promoted Sarah Sakr from merchandising and marketing assistant, Europe, to marketing and licensing coordinator, Europe, based in Paris.

The Craft & Hobby Association, Elmwood Park, NJ, appointed Avery Dykman as educational meeting planner and Avani Saraiya as information systems manager, as well as promoting Lauri Pietruszka to exhibits sales manager. 

Cocktail accessories brand Stirrings, Fall River, MA, named Robert Swartz, as its new CEO. Swartz formerly served as vice president of sales at Terlato Wines International.
