Washington, DC — The Art as a Catalyst Retailer Network, which raises funds for nonprofit organizations, will launch a breast cancer initiative at this summer’s New York International Gift Fair.
The year-old network is led by craft artist Gary Rosenthal, who defines its mission as “creating a nationwide community of craft galleries and individuals interested in supporting nonprofit organizations in socially responsible ventures.”
The newest program features the Strength Stone, a pink piece of fused glass with “strength” silk-screened on one side and a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon on the other.
Strength Stones will retail for $20 each. A portion of sales will benefit breast cancer awareness. For more information, call (301) 493-5577 or visit www.artasacatalyst.org.
We would love your feedback!
