Road Runners to Open AmericasMart Showroom

Hartsdale, NY — Sales rep firm Road Runners LLC, which covers New York and New Jersey, is expanding into the Southeast market and opening a new permanent showroom at Americasmart Atlanta. The showroom will open in time for the January International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. Road coverage begins on January 1, 2009.

The Southeast division will focus on a limited number of product lines with an emphasis on paper, gift and children’s products. Lines will include Mudlark and Notes & Queries. Twelve sales reps will cover territories in seven states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. These reps will service both mom-and-pop retailers and major accounts.

“Noel and I are very excited to be bringing our management style and business practices down to the Southeast,” said principal Rich Gilbert of himself and partner Noel Weintraub, “It’s probably the number one market in the country right now and we can’t wait to be a part of it.”
