GHTA Sets Dates for Sales Training

Denver — The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA) will hold a two-day training course for sales associates in Atlanta, Columbus and Denver.
The class, called "Selling in the Gift and Home Industry," will cover topics such as prioritizing and managing the customer base, organizing sales territory, managing sales books and samples, prospecting, making appointments, the order process and best practices for business management. The second day will focus on advanced techniques for selling at shows. Courses will take place at Americasmart Atlanta on March 8–9th, the Denver Merchandise Mart on April 23–24th and the Columbus Marketplace on April 27–28th. The course will cost $200 for GHTA members, $225 for non-members. Those registering less than 30 days in advance will be charged a $25 late fee.
