By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 11/10/2009 2:32:00 PM

Elmwood Park, NJ – The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) will debut several new programs to enhance the CHA’s 69th Annual Winter Convention & Trade Show held January 24–27, 2010 in Anaheim, CA.

A new supplier badge policy will grant every non-exhibiting CHA supplier member company four free badges. . Supplier member companies that exhibit will get four free badges per 100 sq. ft. of exhibit space purchased. For additional badges, exhibitors will be charged $50 per badge; non-exhibiting CHA supplier members will be charged $100 per badge. Non-member attendees will pay $150 per badge.

A new free program called CHA ShowBiz Connections will match exhibitors and attendees based on product and service interests indicated during the registration process. All participating registrants will receive a weekly update with their paired CHA ShowBiz Connections and access to their ShowBiz Connections message center. Attendees and buyers can pre-plan while exhibitors can send messages, announce specials and offer discounts. Email addresses and contact information are never revealed and participants may opt out at any time.

Also debuting is a CHA member referral program.  For each new 2010 member (up to a maximum of three companies) referred by another CHA member, a $50 credit will be applied to the 2011 membership dues of the referring company (up to maximum amount of $150).
