Washington, DC — The U.S. Postal Service is co-sponsoring a series of five free webinars to teach small and mid-sized businesses how to run a successful direct mail campaign.

• Direct Mail Crash Course, Sept. 23, 1–2 p.m. EST, for those new to direct mail or who want an overview of the fundamentals.
• How to Plan and Organize a Direct Mail Campaign, Oct. 7, 1–2 p.m. EST, helps attendees formulate a plan to meet company goals and provides tips on effective mailing.
• Customizing Your Mail Pieces, Oct. 21, 1–2 p.m. EST, covers personalized marketing strategies and how they can increase response rates.
• Mail Piece Design, Nov. 4, 1–2 p.m. EST, teaches how to create effective headlines, write effective copy and select graphics that get the best response.
• Mailing List, The Key to Better Response, Nov. 18, 1–2 p.m. EST, covers the basics of choosing, using and managing mailing lists for direct mail campaigns.
