Itasca, IL-based gift manufacturer Enesco LLC appointed Ricky Tai Jen Chan to the newly created position of senior vice president of Asian Operations and a member of Enesco’s executive management team. Enesco will centralize its Asian sourcing under Chan’s leadership, including both hard and soft goods for all Enesco product lines. The company also plans an expansion of its engineering and development capabilities in Asia to serve all the global divisions of Enesco. Chan reports to executive chairman Matthew C. Bousquette. He will be responsible for all aspects of Enesco’s Asian operations including supply chain management, production planning, order management, engineering, quality assurance and quality control. Chan led Asian operations and product development for Enesco’s Gund division since joining the company in 2005. His previous experience includes leading global sourcing for Russ Berrie & Co. Daniel Lau was named to the newly created role of senior director of product engineering and innovation, reporting to Chan.

Floral and home décor vendor ARTEflorum Inc. hired Bobby Ray Cox as its new vice president of sales. Cox’s responsibilities will include managing sales and marketing efforts, developing and executing new marketing programs, and overseeing the company’s national network of sales representatives. Cox most recently served as executive vice president for Thoughtful Little Angels and previously worked for Joan Baker Designs and United Design. 

Dorset Partners was appointed chief restructuring officer for two challenged businesses: a third generation family business in New England supporting six family members and a Detroit area machining business.
