By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 6/24/2008 1:30:00 PM

White Plains, NY — George Little Management (GLM) restructured the management team for the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF). GLM vice president Christian Falkenberg will become manager of NYIGF, responsible for sales, marketing, management and operations. He will report to GLM senior vice president Dorothy Belshaw, who will retain her responsibilities as NYIGF director. Falkenberg most recently served as general manager for two GLM-managed events: The International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show and the Las Vegas International Hotel & Restaurant Show.

At the same time, Danielle Johnson and Liz Beauregard are promoted to sales manager of the At Home and Handmade divisions respectively. Two GLM sales managers have joined the NYIGF team and three of the Fair’s current sales managers have been assigned new responsibilities.

Sales managers reporting to Falkenberg include Beauregard; Paula Bertolotti (New York’s Newest, New Applicants); Marc Delman (Tabletop & Housewares); Melissa Engongoro (Extracts, Personal Accessories); Johnson; Scott Kramer (General Gift); Randi Mohr (At Home, Studio, Value Added Program) and Priscila Onou (Accent on Design, Personal Accessories & Details).

According to Belshaw, this change is part of an overall restructuring of GLM's parent company dmg world media’s Business-to-Retail (B2R) division

In addition, GLM vice president Penny Sikalis will reassume the role of show manager for annual art and design licensing tradeshow SURTEX. As vice president/show manager, Sikalis will be responsible for day-to-day sales, marketing, management and operations. She will report to Robinson. Sikalis will also serve as manager of GLM’s Gourmet Housewares Show and international sales manager for GLM’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair. Sikalis most recently served as vice president/global business development and group show manager for the Global Home Textiles and Global Home Décor shows.
