Festivity 2010 Changes Dates, Rates

Milan, Italy — The 2010 edition of Festivity, the Christmas and Festive Decorations, Games, Toys and Carnival Show, will take place January 21–24. That means the show will no longer run concurrently with Macef. Gianfranco Ranieri, president of the International Toy Fair, owner of Festivity’s trademark, said, “We have chosen the new date because we think the extra week will give companies more time to get their samples ready and allow visitors to plan their visits and business. The request came from the market, and our job is to provide a prompt answer.”
The show, run by Fiera Milano Intl., is also lowering its rates: The cost for exhibitors will be an average of 16 percent less than last year, plus further special conditions for members of Assogiocattoli, a trade association for manufacturers and importers of games, toys, model kits, Christmas decorations and childcare products.
We would love your feedback!
