People on the Move: September 9

The Intl. Housewares Assn., Rosemont, IL, elected two new members to the board of directors: Steven Fraser, chairman and CEO of Wilton Products Inc., and James E. Joseph, president and CEO, of Oneida Ltd. Both were elected to three-year terms. Newly elected board officers include: chairman, Jeff Siegel, president/CEO of Lifetime Brands Inc.; vice chairman/chairman elect, Robert L. Trudeau, chairman of Trudeau Corp. and treasurer Bruce Kaminstein, president of Casabella Holdings LLC. Officers serve one-year terms.

Family-owned stationery and gift company Legacy Publishing, Clinton, MA, hired Bruce Olson for the newly created position of national sales director for the General Gift Market. Olson previously worked for Leanin’ Tree Greeting Cards, most recently as regional sales manager for a territory spanning 23 states. Olson will report to Timothy Cross, Legacy’s vice president, sales and contracts.

W.A.C. Lighting, Garden City, NY, appointed Kirby Underwood to the position of Southeast territory sales manager. Underwood previously served as account manager for Hagemeyer North America, and vice president of PadgeWood Electric Company.
