ART Changes Its Conference Date

Dallas — In 2009, Accessories Resource Team (ART) will hold its annual education conference in May rather than in August as in previous years. The 2009 conference will take place May 28–31 at the Naples Grande Resort & Club in Naples, FL. The change in timing was made in response to a survey taken of past attendees who noted that the August timing had become increasingly difficult to schedule between market and holiday conflicts.
In addition to the change in timing, other changes and enhancements have been made to the conference program. The programming will begin mid-day on May 28 and include retail, manufacturer and sales representative round table discussions. A version of last year's popular retail merchandising and marketing exercise will return to the program. And the Naples area has a wealth of home stores that the group will visit and be part of the workshop.
