New York — Home accessories and gift vendor Lazy Susan USA will donate 20 percent of consumer sales
year round on select items to the gift industry's charity arm Gift for Life, which raises funds for DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. In addition on World AIDS Day, December 1, Lazy Susan will donate 20 percent of sales on all items purchased on its consumer website. DIFFA supports both direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS and preventative education for those at risk.
“We are honored to be involved in a ground-breaking opportunity to merge caring with commerce,” said David Moses, CEO of Lazy Susan.
“DIFFA is always seeking new and mutually beneficial partnerships in an effort to sustain our important mission,” David Sheppard, executive director of DIFFA, said in a statement. “The relationship with Lazy Susan is a perfect example of what we call merging care with commerce; a true win-win."
