Palm Beach Gardens, FL — Journalist Brent Felgner passed away of cancer at the age of 57. Felgner served as a contributing editor to many Reed Business Publications since 1989, including Gifts & Decorative Accessories, Playthings, Home Textiles Today, Furniture Today, Broadcasting & Cable, Multi-Channel News and Twice (This Week In Consumer Electronics). His contributions won multiple awards, including American Business Media’s prestigious Neal Award and the Trade Association Business Publications Intl. Tabbies. His long career also spanned work at newspapers, radio and wire service, as well as helping to run one of New York Senator Chuck Schumer’s early campaigns. In 1997, he founded the Gotham Media Works graphic, design and editorial services agency with his wife Desiree. He is survived by his wife, son Scott and father Hans. A memorial service is planned for later this year in New York.
