DMC Again Host to Dining by Design

Dallas—Dining by Design" will again be presented at the Dallas Market Center's International Gift and Home Accessories Market next month. Elle Decor and GE Monogram will present the exhibit during the market, June 20 - 26.

Dining by Design, benefiting DIFFA (The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS), "brings together some of the most talented and celebrated individuals in the worlds of fashion, interior design, art and architecture" to create the dining environments.

“Dining by Design is a spectacular showcase of the talents and products of our market exhibitors and buyers as well as many other creative people in our city,” said Bill Winsor, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. We are pleased to host and sponsor this important event that helps finance the work DIFFA does for the community.”

In addition to the national touring tables of Elle Decor, GE Monogram and Rosemount Estate Wines, there will be a diverse array of lavishly designed tables by others, including a debut by Benjamin Moore. Following its Dallas premiere, the Benjamin Moore table will join the national tour of tables.

The tables will be on view to market attendees in The Grand Pavilion at the Trade Mart beginning Wednesday, June 20. Admission is $10 and proceeds benefit DIFFA/Dallas. Tickets to tour the tables will be available on site. A cocktail preview party will take place 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 22. The VIP gala event will be Saturday evening, June 23, with guests dining at tables created by the participating designers and sponsors.  Tickets are available starting at $300 per person, benefiting DIFFA. The Dining by Design multi-city tour has in past years raised more than $12 million for DIFFA. Design luminaries for the national touring tables including David Rockwell/Rockwell Group for GE Monogram, Margaret Russell for ELLE DECOR and Marc Blackwell for Rosemount Estate.
