By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 5/22/2008 4:39:00 PM

SF’s 888 Brannan Hosts June Mini Market
San Francisco — The permanent gift showroom building 888 Brannan  (formerly the Giftcenter & Jewelrymart) will hold Mini Market Days from 9 a.m.–5 p.m., June 2–3. The market days provide retailers with the opportunity to get a head start on viewing some of the newest merchandise before the busy summer markets while working with their local reps. By shopping the lines at the permanent showroom building, buyers can get an early start on placing orders with vendors in the building prior to attending the San Francisco International Gift Fair, July 26–29.

Among the lines exclusively at 888 Brannan are HomArt (Fine Lines Company, Showroom 557), Williamsburg (Aldik, Showroom 450), Archipelago and Ciccia Bella (Ann Macy & Associates, Showroom 580), L’Objet and Gold Rush Candles (Morgan & Company, Showroom 534), Meri Meri, Calligraphics and In Good Company (Paper Alliance, Showroom 561), among others.

As an added incentive, there will be door prize giveaways, but attendees must be present to win.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Gone 2 Paradise, featuring Frank Paul, bringing a Jimmy Buffett music experience to The Chicago Market. Capitalizing on the theme, party-goers can enjoy a “Cheeseburger in Paradise” or take a trip to “Margaritaville” while relaxing after a day at market. The event is sponsored by the Alliance for the Great Lakes. The Chicago Market: Living and Giving runs July 17-23.
