The New York Home Textiles Market, at Javits Convention Center and participating showrooms, will be held concurrently with ExTracts: A Trade Show for Aromatherapy, Fragrance, & Personal Care in New York, October 12–15.

ExTracts

This edition of ExTracts will showcase exhibitors from around the world in the Javits Center North Pavilion. Product categories include aromatherapy; body, hair, and skin care; botanicals and essential oils; candles and home fragrances; perfumes; bath accessories, and small appliances. The show will feature a New Resources division, concentrating on the hot-test trends in the industry, and the Natural Products division, which showcases the "back to natural" trend, offering products of natural origin.

New York Home Textiles Show

Among the 300 exhibiting companies at this fall's New York Home Textiles Show at Javits Center will be exhibitors from 15 foreign countries. The Surtex Gallery, an abridged version of SURTEX, which is held in May, will feature some 50 artists, studios, and licensing agents, selling and licensing their artwork to the home fashions market.

Opening Night Reception. Friday, October 12, 5:30–6 p.m. Wine, cheese, and presentation of the Best New Product Awards.

Only in New York Retail Tour. Saturday, October 13, 11:30 a.m.–4 p.m. $35 in advance/$40 on site; includes boxed lunch.

225 Fifth Avenue, The New York Gift Building's New York Textile/Relax-Sation Market will be themed "Urban Renewal." 225 will offer Preview Days, October 10–11, in addition to the show dates, October 12–15.

230 Fifth Avenue, the New York Marketcenter, will open its doors October 12–16, during the market.

Complimentary shuttles will run between the show-rooms and Javits during the market.
