GCA Convention to Blaze Trails

Washington, DC — The Greeting Card Association’s (GCA) 68th Annual Convention is set for October 14–18 at the FireSky Resort & Spa in Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ. This year’s convention theme is “Blazing A Trail To New Heights.”

Sessions on the scheduled include:
• Keynote speaker, Mike Robbins, author of the best selling book, Focus on the Good Stuf"
• Arizona Diamondbacks CEO Derrick Hall on "What Does Blazing New Trails Mean as a Leader?"
• Xerox Publishing & Marketing Group's Brian Segnit on "Blazing New Trails in Printing Technology Explored"
• Brandwise Inc. president Todd Litzman on "Demanding Excellence through Online Inventory Options"

Planned panel discussions include:
• "Are Tried and True Marketing Methods Driving Sales OR Are There New Paradigms?"
• "How Are You Using Sales Reps?"
• "What's New in Packaging" which is geared to Associate members
• "What's the Best Option?" , a retailer panel.

Other activities includue a community service team building event, the annual golf outing, a ho-down at MacDonald's Ranch, the annual auction & dinner dance, and time for networking with peers in the industry.

Hotel reservations ($209 plus taxes) can be made by calling (800) 528-7867 or (480) 945-7666. When making reservations, identify yourself as being with the GCA. The cut off date for reservations is Friday, September 18.
