GCA Names 2009 Louie Finalists

Washington, DC – The Greeting Card Assn. named the finalists for the 22nd Annual Intl. Greeting Card Awards, AKA the 2009 Louie Awards. This year's theme is Go for the Gold. About 900 entries were recieved in 56 categories from nearly 150 companies, including 64 first-time entrants. Entries were judged on imagination, impact, artistry, harmony, sendability and value. Winners will be revealed on Monday, May 17, at a gala at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, New York, from 6:30-10:30 p.m., during the National Stationery Show.
