WMF Americas Names Corrado Senior VP

Charlotte, NC –WMF Americas Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of the German company WMF AG, a distributor design-oriented housewares and tabletop, has appointed Deborah Corrado as senior vice president of sales and marketing of its consumer division, reporting directly to WMF Americas president/CEO Markus Glueck.

In this position, Corrado will oversee the development of sales and brand recognition for WMF Americas. She will also be responsible for the planning and execution of product and market strategies for the company’s portfolio of WMF, Kaiser Bakeware and Alfi products, including the development and growth of new and existing sales and distribution channels. She also will work directly with the U.S. and German brand and sales management teams to help establish and meet corporate goals and policies.

“We are excited to welcome Deborah to our senior management team and look forward to the significant sales and marketing expertise she brings to this position and our company,” states Glueck.  “She has a proven track record of sales success and we feel confident that with her industry knowledge and guidance WMF Americas will continue to build awareness as a well-recognized and sought-after brand among American households.”

Corrado is 30-year industry veteran with extensive knowledge of brand management of consumer products. She most recently worked with Waterford Wedgwood USA as vice president of sales for the Royal Doulton division, and has previously worked for other well-known tabletop and homewares brands, including Lifetime Brands and Villeroy & Boch.

Pictures and More Hires Vaughn
Framed art vendor Pictures and More, Knoxville, TN, hired Angela Vaughn as national sales manager. Vaughn will focus efforts to make the product lines more responsive to customers’ revolving needs and expand a sales program nationally. Vaughn previously served as a retail buyer of bedding, bath decor, table linens, china, crystal, silver and gifts at Proffitt’s Department Stores, a division of Saks Department Stores Inc.
