Luxury Stationer Mrs. John L. Strong to Close

New York — After 80 years in business, luxury stationer Mrs. John L. Strong will shutter its business, citing the impact of the current economic climate, according to Crain's New York Business. The retailer, who had a shop on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, as well as boutiques in Barney's New York in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, catered primarily to the social elite and celebrities, including Tom Cruise, Tommy Hilfiger and Oprah Winfrey.
