Private equity firm Hilco Consumer Capital announced that Jamie Salter, CEO, will be resigning from the company to pursue other interests and that Eric Kaup, currently general counsel, has been named interim CEO. Hilco’s investments in the gift and home industies include Sharper Image, Bombay Co. and Linens 'N' Things. Kaup will continue to serve as general counsel and executive vice president of Hilco Trading LLC, HCC's parent company. Salter, who helped co-found HCC with Hilco Trading in December 2006, will continue to advise on the HCC portfolio of brands and to serve on the boards of several companies in which Hilco has invested, as well as continuing to manage the day-to-day operations of one of them, House of Marley.

Plush toy manufacturer Fiesta appointed Michael Howe as senior vice president, sales, and promoted Chris Wu to vice president of product development. Howe joins the company with more than 20 years experience in the plush business, having worked at Ace Novelty, Play By Play and Toy Network/Manley Toy. Wu is a 15-year veteran of the company.

AccuQuilt, maker and distributor of cutting solutions in the quilting and fabric craft markets, hired Linda Pumphrey as its new sales product development manager. Pumphrey will be responsible for the execution of sales strategies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume as well as overseeing research and development of new products.
