WithIt Opens Registration for 2009 Conference

Conference Has New Name, New Location and New Features

By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 3/6/2009 10:04:00 AM

Greensboro, NC Women in the Home Industries Today (WithIt) opened online registration for the WithIt Professional Conference 2009, its renamed annual education event. The three-day gathering for home industry professionals is set for August 11–13, at the Embassy Suites Hotel Resort and Conference Center Charlotte, in  Concord, NC. This is a new venue for the event.

In addition to WithIt’s popular roundtable discussions, educational forums, leadership development activities and networking opportunities, a new element added to this year’s conference lineup is an optional “Curbside Mentoring Program.” This program offers members one-on-one discussions with an expert in an area they are seeking help in. This fee-based activity will be available with limited time slots and require advance sign-up. Additional information regarding the new program, pre-conference workshops, and the 2009 keynote speaker will be announced soon.

WithIt is the premiere international organization dedicated to the support and development of professional women in the home industries. Its all-volunteer board is led by Liz O’Brien, 2009 WithIt.

Respecting budgetary constraints due to the current economic climate, WithIt will maintain 2008 conference pricing. Early bird special pricing, tickets to the August 12 WOW Awards and Gala dinner and membership information are also available through the website.
