Action Products Kids’ Jewelry Craft Kits Recalled

Washington, DC — Toy and gift manufacturer Action Products International Inc., Ocala, FL, in cooperation with theU.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, is voluntarily recalling Curiosity Kits Abalone and Venetian Carnevale Necklace Craft Kits. The lobster clasps in both craft kits and the Abalone necklace pendant contain high levels of lead.
The recall includes the children's jewelry craft kits "Abalone Necklace" (item #67117) and "Venetian Carnevale Necklace" (item #67118). The kits, which were manufactured in China, have been sold in the U.S. and Canada from June 2007 through April 2009 for about $6.
