Denver, CO — The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA) named retailer Melissa Haberstroh an ex-officio member of its board of directors. The GHTA chose Haberstroh, owner of The Burlap Horse, Boerne, TX, because of her participation in the GHTA's Retailer Advisory Board.
Haberstroh will work with industry executives on the GHTA’s four initiatives: to educate sales professionals; to educate the industry on technological efficiencies; to support independent retailers; and to educate the industry on showroom/trade show costs, statistics, schedules, opportunities and preferences. "The GHTA is working to improve every aspect of our industry and I am proud of my role in this dynamic group," said Haberstroh, who is also a past winner of Gifts & Decorative Accessories’ Retailer Excellence Award. "As a member of the board, I will work to represent independent retailers and their interests in the gift and home industry."
We would love your feedback!
