People on the Move: March 23

Donna Sharp Inc. promoted Tony Renfro to COO; Lisa Huff to national sales manager; Lori Urwin to director of business development and Leslie Turner to CFO. Donna Sharp remains CEO/president and chief designer while her husband Dean Sharp is executive vice president.

WAC Lighting appointed James McMahan to general manager and vice president. McMahan's initial responsibilities include overseeing the company's marketing department, and he is scheduled to manage business operations company-wide by the end of the year.

The Chicago Market: Living and Giving added Paul Borejsza of Euroline Ltd. and Frederic (Rick) Contino, president of Midwest-CBK to its executive advisory board. Other companies represented on the board include burton + BURTON, Ivystone Group and Roman Inc., among many more.

RC2 Corp. appointed Joan K. Chow to the company's board of directors. Chow is executive vice president and chief marketing officer of ConAgra Foods, and was recently named a 2009 Marketer of the Year by Brandweek Magazine. The appointment will temporarily increase the size of RC2's board, pending a planned retirement of a current director, Dan Wright, in May of this year. 

Michael Cobb has been named president of Belgian chocolate maker’s U.S. subsidiary Guylian USA Inc. as of March 8. Most recently, Cobb was vice president of marketing and sales for Bongrain Cheese USA. Prior to that, he was marketing director of Twinings North America Inc.
