Syratech Buyout Completed

Westbury , NY — Lifetime Brands Inc. completed its acquisition of Syratech Corp., a tabletop, home decor and frame vendor, on April 28. The acquisition came at a price of $37 million in cash and $12.5 million in stock.

Syratech is just the latest in Lifetime’s expanding stable of properties; the company acquired tabletop assets from Salton Inc. in September 2005, Excel Importing Corp. in July 2004 and The PfaltzgraffCo.in July 2005. For more on the deal, see Lifetime to Acquire Syratech Assets.
