Next Big Thing Names Finalists

By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 4/13/2010 11:56:00 AM

Dallas – The Dallas Market Center wholesale marketplace named the finalists for The Next Big Thing national product search contest. Clothes and Go, Sand Gone, and Sutton Baking Cups will compete for the top spot.

Members of the industry can cast their vote on Facebook by clicking on the “poll” tab. Voting begins Tuesday, April 13 at 8 a.m. and ends June 25 at midnight CDT. The winner will be selected based on a combination of judges’ feedback and popular vote.

Clothes and Go is a solution for moving clothing on hangers, eliminating the need for traditional moving boxes and hanging rods. The bag is made of lightweight, water resistant material that includes ties to attach hangers, Velcro to secure the items, and handles to carry the bag over the shoulder.

Sand Gone is an all-natural, non-talc dry body powder with a coconut scent. When applied to sandy body parts, it removes the sand. Comes in an eight ounce container with a body puff.

Sutton Baking Cups are cupcake liners that do not lose color or design after they are baked, even when holding chocolate. Designs range from vintage textile patterns to colorful prints.

The winner will be announced on Saturday, June 26 at 3 p.m. during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, and will receive a prize package worth more than $15,000 including a new $5,000 cash prize, exhibit space at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, January 19-25, 2011, a profile in one of Dallas Market Center’s custom publications, consultations on branding, public relations, visual merchandising and more.
