GHTA to Host Unconference
By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 9/12/2007 11:57:00 AM
Denver – The Gift and Home Trade Assn. (GHTA) will host the industry’s first Unconference one day before the start of GHTA's 2007 Annual Conference in La Jolla, CA, November 16–17. The scheduling of the Unconference is in response to attendees who wanted a bigger say in what was discussed at the conference.
“We decided to try it in our industry after receiving feedback that attendees wanted more opportunities to determine the format and topics of the GHTA’s Annual Conference. Those who attend the Unconference will have the perfect opportunity to discuss whatever is on their mind,” said Gregg Marshall, GHTA executive director.
There will be no pre-arranged agenda and no speakers; the purpose is to have free-flowing ideas. There will also be no additional fee for those planning to attend the 2007 Annual Conference.
We would love your feedback!
