White Plains, NY — The Boston Gift Show will expand its garden related offerings by adding an Outdoor Living section at the fall show, September 15-18. The new division, scheduled to run each autumn at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, will include 65 exhibitors, a significant percentage of the total show’s 400 participants.
Outdoor Living will feature bird feeders, decorative accessories, garden tools, planters, furniture, fountains, lighting, prints, patio products and other related merchandise, plus educational opportunities and networking events specific to this segment. A complete list of events will be available online beginning in August.
Show manager Tony Orlando said, “Outdoor Living is one of the fastest growing product categories in the gift industry, and we’re excited to present a new division that will serve the needs of these retailers.” The Northeast region represents the largest concentration of garden centers in the United States, according to show producer George Little Management, and some $50 billion was spent on outdoor living areas in 2005.
