Frankfurt, Germany – Messe Frankfurt is offering a seminar on intellectual property protection during the Ambiente fair next month. Messe Frankfurt Against Copying was launched in 2006 to take steps against product and trademark piracy. This new seminar is meant to increase awareness of the problem. It is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, in Hall 4.C, Concorde room, 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and is open to all Ambiente exhibitors and visitors.
The seminar will include lectures from the German Patent and Trademark Office, the Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union, the EU China Helpdesk and the Aktion Plagiarius initiative. The talks will cover a range of topics, including the scope of and damage caused by product and trademark piracy, trademark and design protection in the EU and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Ambiente is set to take place February 12–16.
