Best New Products: Stationery

New York — George Little Management, producers of the National Stationery Show, honored five exhibitors at its 10th annual Best New Product Awards on May 21st. Awards were presented in five categories, echoing the divisions of the show.

Categories included Celebrate, Homework, Indulgences, Presents and Take Note. Editors from industry trade publications, including Gifts & Decorative Accessories’ Executive Editor Caroline Kennedy, reviewed more than 100 submissions and chose the winners on criteria of innovative product design, aesthetic appeal, new product direction and niche and creative use of materials and packaging.

Tarta Marketing LLC, Chicago, won in the Celebrate category for the Toppers by Tarta Self-Sticking Pop-Up Gift Topper. ZuZu, Louisville, CO, won for the Crocodile paper stationery products and accessories line in the HomeWork category. In Indulgences, Cleo Writing Instruments, Munich , German, took the prize for its Gessner wooden pen and key case set. E.K. Success, Clifton , NJ , took the number one spot in Presents for the Let-Me-Tell-You & Me and My Honey wedding, honeymoon and anniversary keepsake album, packaged in a suitcase-style box. And in the Take Note category, the Big Bear Hugz Greeting Card by Hugz Inc., Dallas, carried the day
